Brother Walfrid Veil

Working with a team of six artists and a coordinator, together we provided visual art workshops in schools and community centres throughout Glasgow.

During the workshops children from non-denominational, faith-based and other backgrounds made drawings of their fantasy football strip.

Hundreds of the children's drawings were printed onto a 12m long fabric using special printing processes at the Centre for Advanced Textiles at Glasgow School of Art.

The Veil was draped over the sculpture of Brother Walfrid at the Unveiling Ceremony which was attended by several thousand fans including many of the children who had created the veil.

The Veil Project received a Sense Over Sectarianism Award in 2006.

Fans waiting at Celtic Park for the Unveiling Ceremony to begin.
